WORLD SERIES DATES FOR 2025 - JULY 28 - AUG 2
Opening Day Activities, July 28, 2025
Opening Day Ceremonies will take place on Monday July 28th at Sportsplex Santee. There will be introductions and a team parade with skills competitions following the ceremonies. Games will begin on Wednesday, July 31st with the last day of the competition on Sunday, August 2nd.
Who Play's in this event and who is qualified? This is a destination Global World Series USSSA Event. Teams from all over the U.S. and other countries are welcome to participate. San Diego has one of the best climates in the world, and there are plenty of attractions to enjoy. Pack your bags for a great baseball experience in a beautiful city.

Format
4 pool play games will be played Wednesday - Friday, Saturday bracket play, and Sunday will be Championship day. Some semi-final and championship games will be played on Saturday, August 2nd.

Event History
The first travel ball World Series in San Diego established in 2008, was sanctioned under BPA under the direction of Elite Diamond Sports.
Elite Diamond Sports has been in business since 2006. The event was sanctioned under different partners up to 2017 and then sanctioned under USSSA from 2017 to the present.
Quality Assurance
Our directors and staff are San Diego residents and know San Diego better than any other tournament staff. We know exactly how many fields suit an event of this nature. We will be capping off the number of teams that can participate to ensure teams are playing on quality fields. What separates us from other tournament promoters is our commitment to using the best fields available in San Diego County, located no more than 30 minutes from downtown San Diego.

Gate Fees
$15.00 Gate Fee for ages 16 and over at most of the venues
This is a per-person daily Gate Fee, not a Parking Fee. Up to 3 Coaches per team will be issued entry tickets.
